Project Administrator -Construction

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Administrator to support our project management team by handling a variety of administrative and construction-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Must have recent work experience and must have worked for a construction company. Office setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, process, and maintain subcontract agreements, releases, and related documentation.
  • Track, review, and maintain subcontractor insurance certificates to ensure compliance with company and project requirements.
  • Request, collect, and organize credit card receipts and supporting documentation for expense tracking and reconciliation.
  • Perform document management, filing, and recordkeeping for project and company files, both electronic and hard copy.
  • Assist with light accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, coding, and payment tracking.
  • Support project managers and office staff with administrative duties and special projects as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with contract and compliance tracking.
  • Coordinate communication with subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks to support project deadlines and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, subcontracts, insurance compliance, and project documentation preferred.
  • Experience with accounts payable processes is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This will be onsite Monday to Friday

8AM-5PM

Pay $23-$30 an hour, depending on experience.
